Ounah features Lundi in new album

When listening to the beautiful melodies of this album, one might think that the singer is an international artist, and this is due to the collaborations with SA gospel artists that also include Thando Maphakela.

In an interview with Showbiz, the young man from Mahalapye said his album was released in November. You Are Not Alone has 15 tracks some of them being Alikho Igama, Hold on, that features five year-old Sam and Xikhwembu which was produced by Suffocate at RocLefatshe studios.

However, the multitalented man was the executive producer and he also marketed and distributed the album.

“This is my third album. My other albums are Jeso o Lokile and Jealous God. Shirley Hlahatse and Stagga Ralf Willams of the classic hip hop song It Gets Crazy featured in these albums. I have worked with many local and international artists in different music festivals both locally and internationally,” he said.

Ounah added that during those festivals he was able to share ideas on how he could develop as an artist. He said some of the people whose advices he treasured included Benson Phuthego who featured in one of his songs from the previous album.

He also noted that Sechaba Pali from South Africa took his time to guide him for the recording of the ablum. Ounah made appearances in corporate events, schools prize giving ceremonies, charity events, weddings and parties.

He has also been nominated three times for Best DVD in 2013 and 2014 respectively. He was also nominated for Best DVD Contemporary gospel 2016.
