The high riding DJ who is scheduled to perform at this year’s Mahika Mahikeng Festival in Mafikeng, South Africa on December 9 told Arts & Culture that the song is the type of electronic music people listen and make in Africa.

“The song is inspired by the old African story read to children to motivate them to listen to the elders. The story is about a granddaughter who failed to obey her grandmother asking her to both leave their beautiful house, which was haunted by monsters.  “The girl chose to remain in the metal house with thoughts that monsters could not invade.

Finally, the monster heated a stone and swallowed it to soften its voice to speak like the grandmother. “Chiwele opened the metal door hearing her voice like her grandmother outside hence the monster ate her,” Sbi Techn explained the meaning behind the song.

Sbi Techn remains on the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC TOP 30) in Northwest with this new release. The Earl Grand Records African superstar DJ/producer releases chiwele shortly after releasing his first official single of 2018 called Love In Reverse few months ago.

He said each song in the album features a star either on vocals or as solo instrumentalist. He said the album is due early next year, featuring Kaylow, Socca, and Freshly Ground.
