He implored Kgatleng church leaders to always intensify their security if they know that they have valuables in their buildings.

“Theft in churches is a very common problem that we are grappling with here in Kgatleng. We also advise members of  the public to be vigilant and observant when unusual occurrences take place at such places,” he said.

Meanwhile the Faith Mission church is also mourning the loss of their Pastor’s wife who is reported to have died recently. Some church officials could not speak to this publication at the time of going to press saying they will need some time to consult others whether to grant Mmegi the interview or not.  Sources however said the appliances were a big loss to the church and they would have to explore other alternatives to raise the funds. “We were planning to use them in the near future and now we do not know where to start to raise the funds,” the source said.  He said the church was shocked at the event, but prayed for the perpetrators nevertheless.
