It was not the first time the place hosted the promotion of the product. Revellers were allowed to watch for free and the fun soon heated up when MMP Family hit the stage.

The award-winning kwaito group that not so long ago released their album ‘On A Mission’ started the evening on a high note with the crowd eating out the palm of their hands.

The Kwaito trio of Modiri ‘M.O.D.’ Nage, Tebogo ‘Mzico’ Baipedi and Mothusi ‘Ples’ Jackalas started off by performing their previous hits like Makheneke.

The crowd was really enjoying the performance as they mobbed the stage. MMP Family, which has enjoyed the kwaito crown for many years, also dished out some of their new songs like Hao Tagilwe.

They wrapped up the performance by rewinding the clock to the time when they made a breakthrough into the industry with their hit song Lebala Ka Nna.

DJ La Timmy who is also a crowd favourite soon hit the decks with his distinctive repertoire.

He performed his usually unrecorded songs called Leb*let* and Voetsek.

And he made fun of the crowd through the lyrics in the songs as the night melted away.

Franco and Afro Musica then arrived on stage to offer Tsolamosese residents the last performance of the night. They began with a warm-up show where Franco and his dancers showed that kwasa kwasa is still a powerful genre.

Franco simply defied age with his energetic performance  as he started off by performing his latest songs like Mene Mene Tekele and Ke Eng O Dira Jalo.

As much as people were enjoying Afro Musica at their best, others created their mini-stage as they danced.

The event closed at 11pm with patrons fully sated and not worrying about their safety as security was tight and there were no reported incidents of crime.
