Artists share 2017 resolutions

Bambino
“The mission is to work hard, make money and make 2017 a greater year because 2016 was a good year,” said the stand up comedian. He noted that he would continue from where he left last year. Bambino who is part of the South African Soweto Comedy Festival noted that he is aiming to tour Europe with his South African team this year, “I penetrated into the regional boarders last year and this time I have to go overseas”. He is looking forward to being on both radio and TV.
Berry Heart
The multi-talented artist was quick to state that she does not have New Year resolutions but has lifetime resolutions. “I don’t have a New Year resolution, but a lifetime resolution, it’s a continuation”.
Having said so the muso said she would continue launching her album Kenya in different areas locally and in Kenya. Apart from music she noted that she has a number of poetry performances lined up regionally and internationally. She will also be on TV as she is one of the lead actors on local drama Ntwakgolo. “I am turning 30 years this year, I want to focus on maintaining my health and beauty as it is important for a woman to do so when she is growing up”.
German Dollar
The award winning disc jockey-cum producer who is famously known for playing EDM sets stated that this year he is broadening his music production expertise, as he will now be focusing on other music genres apart from EDM. “I will be producing sounds from different music genres such as pop, house and hip hop”. German Dollar said he would release a number of singles. He hinted that Groove Cartel, a group that he is part of with TCM would also release some new music. “I also want to start hitting the gym and get into shape”.
Leshie Lovesong
One of the impressive talents to watch on stage Leshie Lovesong said she would put much focus on completing her manuscript, which she started working on two years ago. “This means I will not be doing any performances so I work on my manuscript and recording my album.
I will only perform if I get booked,” said the performing artist. Leshie Lovesong stated that she would be recording her album, which is scheduled for this year.
Despite not having any plans to perform locally she noted that she has international performances lined up, “I can’t reveal where I will be performing at the moment”.
