Hosting its second instalment, the event is curated by The Store in partnership with Lengau Wine Company. “This trend has been growing across the world, as more and more people seek different experiences rather than just buying things. Sip and Paint allows people to engage with art in a refreshing way.

The first instalment held earlier on in the year showed us that there is interest in this conceptual theme, and we decided to host it again,” Event curator and founder, Reba Sejoe said in a press release.

The event will have activities such as live sketches, wine pairings, gin and whiskey tasting from the Lengau Wine Company range. Entertainment will include live poetry readings by Gauta Eyman and a live music by Cedric and DJ Kellz. The Sip and Paint aims to celebrate local art and the endorsement from Thapong speaks to the creative energy it wants to cultivate. At the backdrop of that is local art exhibitions from various artists will have available for purchase on the day.

“The event speaks to anyone who wants to enjoy a fun filled and unique way to uncork their creativity over their favourite beverage, while creating wonderful pieces of art that they get to keep.

“Delectable food, invigorating drinks, fresh vibes, lots of paint, canvases and only the best local art and photography art exhibitions is what people can expect at Sip and Paint,” Sejoe said.

Tickets are currently available at WebTickets outlets across the country.

The P350 ticket includes a canvas, paint and complementary wine with the P200 one excluding painting and complimentary wine.
