Gunners have it easy against minnows

So far, the holders have not conceded a goal after posting victories against Thebephatshwa Whales, Gantsi Hungry Lions BDF Sharks. Tomorrow, Gunners welcome Francistown Tuskers at the Makhubu Club with indications that they will collect maximum points. 'I am satisfied with the way preparations for the game has been going. We started training on Tuesday because normally on Mondays we take a break,' said Gunners' chairman, Modiegi Leepile.

Gunners' coach, Neal Gouws explained that they will be approaching this game with a different plan. He said the players they have acquired from South Africa will not be playing against Tuskers' game. He explained that the players will be included in the next league fixture.

'I have also changed the squad. It is part of my plan to approach each game with a different plan. One of my players is also out with injury,' he said. Gouws announced that he will be introducing a 19-year-old player who was groomed by his assistant coach last year. He said he would like to see how the youngster handles pressure because he has shown that he has skill and determination.

Tuskers' chairperson, Dale Ranford said they are anticipating a good game against Gunners. He explained that preparations for the match have been going well and they will approach the clash with a new plan. He said their loss to BDF Cheetahs last weekend was due to injuries and indiscipline by some of the players. 'In the first half, our players were tired and in the second half, we suffered injuries and indiscipline. The injured players will not be playing in the Gunners' game,' said Ranford.

Meanwhile, Gouws has been nominated to be the Vultures' coach. He said that he is happy to be part of the Botswana national team.
