The coordinator of the glamorous adventure, Dose Mosimanayane says they have set aside December 31 for leisure activities such as boat cruises, scenic flights, helicopter rides, horse back safaris, game drives and more. Mosimanyane says this time around they are encouraging their patrons to dedicate out-door activities to this specific day to enable the service providers to provide reasonable discounts to the visiting groups of tourists.

December 31 also sees the likes of Dramaboi, Mr Styles, Trademark, Chef Gustos, DJ T-man and more entertaining at a music festival dubbed Rekoo at Fresh Exclussive Grounds.

One of the anticipated leisure activities associated with the My Maun Experience is the Wine & Whisky jamboree by the river at Chanoga farm, some 40km outside Maun. The activity is famous for its scenic beauty and the life style it extends to patrons.

The My Maun Experience events kick off on December 29 with local sports heroes, Nigel Amos, Amantle Montsho and other athletes inspiring hundreds of young children to aspire to achieve like them through a coaching clinic. Montsho and Amos have been partners with the My Maun Experience, for sometime, using the opportunity to inspire kids in the locality to aspire to be them. Meanwhile, another regular popular face, Dipsy Selolwane and hordes of former Zebras players will also be holding football coaching clinics for over 150 children whom they hope to inspire to push their talents to another level.

Mosimanyane says this is their one way of giving back to the community of Maun, by imparting life skills to the young ones, using the seasoned professionals such as Selolwane, Montsho and Amos.
