Botswana Life Launches Plan To Assist Affluent Clients

The international investment product is targeted at High Net Worth clients. The policyholder or client would be able to view the transactions in their investment account over the Internet thus giving access their whole investment value at any time.

According to Botswana Life, the holder may be someone with legal entity such as a company or trust, also allowing joint accounts with a maximum of 10 beneficiaries including the main member being appointed.

Speaking during the launch recently, Botswana Life Relationship Manager Thabiso Nkile, said the investment product will be distributed through Botswana Life’s Affluent distribution channels by accredited financial advisors and contracted brokers, which have been specially designed to assist Botswana Life’s Affluent Clients.

“Access will be offered as a single premium International Investment Products. The client can access their whole investment value at any time and will also be able to view the transactions in their investment account over the Internet. Each investor will be allocated a Login name and access password that will allow them to view their investments,” he said.

Nkile said this would enable clients to observe their investment or portfolio as and when they need. In addition, he noted that the client or policyholder can cancel the product within 90 days of receipt of the policy document by the owner.
