The SA entertainers need no introduction. Trompies entered into the music scenes in the mid 1990s and they have since secured a place in the hearts of many Batswana with songs such as Bengimngaka and Mmadibuseng.

Dr Malinga is also expected to rock up revelers with songs such as Sengizwile and Oteng, which is making waves in radio stations locally as well as in South Africa.  Trompies and Dr Malinga are not going to have it easy, as they will be facing fierce competition for crowd response from the likes of Vee Mampeezy who recently filled up Stanbic Bank Piazza at Molapo Crossing. The YAMAs and BOMU award winning Amantle Brown is also expected to give revelers the worth of their money. Other acts of the night include Trademark (RSA), Ndingi Gaba (USA) and Franco. Ditiro Leero, Juju Boy and Dj Kuchi are amongst artists who will also be entertaining Kanye revelers.

“We moved this event from Motse Lodge to Ga-maila out door arena because we wanted a bigger space to accommodate people and their cars,” said one of the event organisers Kaone Mhloke. He said this year’s event would be more secure because they have beefed up security with both private security companies and the Police.

Mhloke further said international and local artists will be treated with the same respect and no one is going to be undermined.  “We sent them their time slots as we do not want confusion on who is performing what time,” he said. Tickets for the day costs P150 in advance, P200 at the gate whereas the VIP ticket costs P400.
