TGPC Miss Popularity competition is a Miss World competition that gives people from around the world the opportunity to vote for their favourite contestant.

For the past days, Kenosi has been in the top five and currently she is number two with votes amounting to 22,811.

The grand finale of Miss World 2016 is on Sunday in Washington DC, USA.

The voting has no restrictions as people can vote as much as they want till December 17 when the polls close. The voting polls can be viewed on the following link, https://thegreatpageantcommunity.com/2016/11/10/miss-world-2016-vote-miss-popularity/.

“Will it be easy? Nope, will it be worth it? Absolutely. It’s all up to us, My Botswana, keep voting. 6 days to go. Tick tock, (sic),” said Kenosi who pleaded for Batswana to vote for her on her social media account.

Despite being one of the favourites on this competition, Kenosi did not manage to impress in other competitions such as the Miss World ‘Beauty with a purpose’, talent and sports competition.

She did not manage to be part of the selected finalists in the respective competitions.

However, she is confident despite losing out in the three categories. She is aiming on winning other remaining competitions such as the top model, multimedia, beach competition and the crown.

“I cannot wait for the beach competition.

After vigorously training for my beach body, I am proud to say I stand a good chance. I have received professional training to improve my walk and I must say it has paid off. I am now ready to show (or shock) the world, (sic)” she said through a Facebook post.

Coming out tops in one of the remaining competitions will be a boost for Kenosi as it will take her further during the grand finale.

A note on the Miss World website cautions that the Miss World contestants have to secure their place in the finals by competing in various challenger events such as sports, talent, top model, multimedia and the most important event which is the Beauty with a Purpose, the very essence of the Miss World pageant.

Kenosi seems to have settled well with the contestants from other countries. She has introduced a number of them as her friends on her Facebook account.

Sunday will see the Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain crown her successor.
