A round trip will cost adults P60 ride while children will pay P30 for the ride. The mokoro is a traditional canoe like vessel commonly used in the Okavango Delta as a popular mode of transport.  Those who have never had the opportunity to visit Okavango and enjoy mekoro rides will now have the chance to experience the rides through this year’s GAFF.

Okavango Promotions would like Batswana and other visitors to enjoy the ride as one would do in Okavango Delta.

“We will love to have Batswana come feel the Okavango Delta experience while in Gaborone.

The mokoro has become the iconic symbol of the delta and is a popular way for visitors to explore the Okavango while on the safari,” GAFF promoters said in a press release.
