Nando's Peri Peri At Your Doorstep

Prior to the launch of the new delivery system, Nando’s had already started trials in their restaurants in Phakalane and Francistown.

During the launch general manager of Nando’s Botswana, Challenge Nhamoyebonde told the media that this was a well thought out idea before they implemented it.

“We have taken a lot of time researching and training our riders and employees. We had to make sure that when we enter this market we don’t disappoint,” he said.

“We are strictly delivering to areas around those restaurants because we want to tap into the new market.”

Nhamoyebonde said they are a listening and reactive brand to customer requirements. “We are customer oriented therefore we got feedback through our Phakalane chain.”

He said even though there are traditional delivery companies that normally do this, as Nando’s they are getting there.

“We are here to stay and some of our customers are already looking forward to our service,” he said.

In terms of areas of delivery, Nhamoyebonde said as much as they want to cover all areas of Gaborone and the environs, there is a limit and they cannot deliver to far places.

He said going forward they would introduce the system to other places in Botswana.

“We came up with this because our customers want convenience so our delivery time ranges between 30 to 45 minutes because we have to prepare the meals first,” he highlighted. Nhamoyebonde said they could only deliver meals, which cost P60 upwards. This delivery system comes at a time when Nando’s Botswana is celebrating their 25th birthday.
