High Court Judge Zein Kebonang and his twin brother former cabinet minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Lobatse Sadique Kebonang have been added into the new charge sheet due for the High Court. 

The twin brothers are facing a host of criminal charges amounting to over P130 million together with Bakang Seretse, Kenneth Kerekang, executive director of BERA, Mogomotsi Seretse, younger brother to Bakang and Kago Stimela. 

The accused are facing 65 charges ranging from money laundering, theft, abuse of office, giving false information to person employed in the public service and uttering a false document.

This week Chief Justice Terrence Rannowane granted Justice Kebonang “provisionally leave of absence subject to approval by the Judicial Service Commission”.  This was after Justice Kebonang requested leave of absence on Monday November 26, 2018 few days before he is scheduled to switch sides and sit on the dock.
