The announcement was made this past weekend with details expected to be revealed during a press briefing today.

The competition, which gives even lower division sides an opportunity to compete against Premier League sides long stopped after Coca-Cola pulled out as a sponsor.

The deal serves as a milestone for the current BFA national executive committee,  which has been heavily criticised for failing to deliver on its promises when it was voted in.
