The award-winning gospel singer was scheduled to perform at Vee’s launch and help Vee to fill up the Stanbic Piazza. He was billed to join other fellow SA artists, Trademark, King Monada and Vukani.

Vee was quick to announce the news yesterday on Facebook and highly regarded the late singer as his big brother. “I have decided to dedicate my whole launch fill up Stanbic Piazza 10 Dec.. to my big brother Sfiso Ncwane,” read the Facebook post.

Vee said Sfiso gave him a chance to penetrate the SA market and was his mentor. “The man who loved Botswana and was planning on getting a house here in Botswana, the man who could call me for hours to teach me about the South African market, even the house that I live in South Africa, he is the one who organised it for me; he did a lot for me. More than anything, the man who served God with all of his heart and loved God, a giver for all charity, a man that believed in Jesus our Lord (sic),” he said in the Facebook post.

The Taku taku hitmaker also announced that his video with the 37-year-old award-winning singer will play for the first time at the launch. Vee also posted a video with the late gospel sensation in which they both announced that they were shooting the video at the time. In the short video, Sfiso announced that he was to return to Botswana this coming Saturday for Vee’s launch.
