“Investigations have just began and nothing much has been established regarding the matter. He was arrested just a day ago and we are reluctant to grant the accused person bail as he is likely to abscond since he provided numerous addresses of abode.

“He said he resides in Gaborone Phase II but he did not provide any plot number. He said he also resides in Gabane yet he did not provide plot number as well as Mmadinare,” Dube said.

The accused person did not contend the state’s plea for his remand. He however said he did not know the plot numbers.

“I had asked someone to provide the house number at home since the plots are new and we are not aware of the house numbers, but I failed,” Kgaisa said. The accused will report for another mention on December 19.
