Kast is supposed to host Tlatsa Lebala next year in April after postponing it more than twice this year. Cassper Nyovest has filled up the Dome and the Orlando Stadium in his home country.

After his performance in Gaborone last week, the rapper, who has earned the name ‘Abuti Fill Up’, announced through Twitter that he has intentions of filling up the National Stadium.

“The tweets read: “I wanna do a Stadium in Botswana next year. The National Stadium to be exact. Would y’all come? I still can’t get over BOTSWANA this past weekend. I’m definitely doing a Stadium next year in your country!!! Thank you for the love!! (sic)”.

After the Malome hitmaker tweeted about the filling up Botswana’s national arena, tweeps linked the tweets to Kast’s Tlatsa Lebala with some comparing and contrasting Cassper Nyovest and Kast.

One notable tweet from a tweep read: @CassperNyovest aweeeee,, ma re ge don’t involve @kastalion1, he is a specialist failure, (sic)”. Kast was quick to respond to the same tweet saying, “@Fikile_S_Kaoyao if calling a failer makes you feel like a winner, then go ahead my brother. I’m not afraid to fail, I’m relentless #Tlax, (sic)”.

This brought a lot of arguments on the social media as many people stated their personal views regarding Cassper Nyovest filling up the stadium, which capacitates 20,000 people.

“I am not under pressure coz these are two different projects. Tlatsa Lebala’s mandate is to fill up the stadium with a line only consisting of local artists. We want to make history with a local line up. Our mandate is different from what Cassper is doing that’s a one-man show,” Kast said.

He noted that Cassper Nyovest’s team had previously contacted him in January this year asking if they can partner on filling up the stadium, but he refused as he explained the mandate of Tlatsa Lebala to them. “I refused because that would be killing the mandate of having a 100% local lineup.”

Kast openly stated that he has no issue with the South African rapper having an intention to fill up the same stadium where he will be hosting. “Cassper is an international artist; he is bound to fill up the stadium. Shows with international artists always have a big attendance”.

It is not yet confirmed if Cassper Nyovest, who was recently crowned the number one rapper during the SA Hottest MC Top 10, will really host the event in Botswana. He has since gone silent about the issue.
