Bush Farm Thamaga's only hangover from Sundays

To kick the habit if not to blissfully nurse the unwelcome hangover, people in Thamaga have found a way to create positive vibes into a full swing family fun day with an event called Bush Farm Sundays.
The event, which is normally, hosted every last Sunday of the month at Adashe Garden Resort gave people an alternative to a rather lazy Sunday.
The picnic-like setup that was held last Sunday gave the attendees a platform to express themselves in a relaxed and appreciative environment.
People brought their camp chairs, had a couple of beers and relaxed while listening to a selection of jazz, soul and hip-hop music that calmed their souls. As children enjoyed a dip in the pool to cool off the effects of summer, their elders were busy socialising.
Sundays are a platform to express one’s artistic self, so some freely danced to their favourite tunes. They also enjoyed delicious food exquisitely prepared by the village locals. The event, which was mostly attended by women, had the perfect view to look over while sipping from a glass of rosé wine or champagne.
The venue that is popularly known as Brane’s Farm has an amazing mix of cultural outdoors experiences on offer.
By the evening, people had already discovered fun things to do in Thamaga, proving why it is a village that should be known for more than just gangs such as matsetsenkane.
Later, there was a performance by Thamaga’s legendary artist SEP of Speta Wozala fame. He announced that he is making a comeback after almost a decade of absence.
Bush Farm Sundays created along similar concepts as Gaborone’s popular events Jam For Brunch and Chill Step Sundays, is a way for people to forget the city life and breathe a new and perhaps have a change of scenery. This event happens on the first Sunday of every month and the next one will be on December 23, 2018 at the same venue.
