Gabs Mega Party Surpasses Expectations

The event’s mandate was to incorporate music and fashion. It gave fun lovers, more especially fashion enthusiasts, an opportunity to showcase their different and unique styles. Even though a handful of the revellers were dressed to kill, many opted for simple but tasteful attires.

Most of the women looked stunning in their elegantly designed jumpsuits, summer dresses, shorts and jeans.

The venue complemented the bright coloured wears as it was also decorated with bright colours. As sneakers are in fashion and a must have for every nightcrawler, both the men and women were wearing different brands of sneakers.

The men looked handsome in their jeans and shorts. Their hairstyles were also interesting.

Local artists, Ban T and the new soul music kid on the block, Antonelle fired things up with their beautiful performances. Their presence could be felt as they pulled a large crowd evidently amused by their performances. Ban T’s song Naomi, which has gained a lot of popularity, got the audience screaming in happiness more especially the women.

However, some in the audience expressed their disappointment at Musa and Robbie Malinga of Mthande’s performances, but their fans seemed to enjoy their performance either way.

Kabelo Tiro famed as Scavenger spoiled the audience with a splendid performance.  His energetic dancers caught the audience’s attention. As usual, DJ Ricky Lamar got the audience off their toes with breathtaking beats. He spoilt the audience with various music genres like house, hip-hop and kwaito.

DJ Bongz of Gwaragwara wrapped the event up on a high note. He played spectacular tunes for the audience. Other artists who made the audience dance were T-man, Archduke, Zoo, Anthem, German Dollar, Jazzman, Flexy, Phouboy, DJ Ksb, Teaz and Storm.
