The concert had a rich lineup of veterans and new school entertainers such as Socca Moruakgomo, Lizibo, Urban Empire, Mike and Mis T.

Moratiwa: An African Tragedy musical directed by veteran jazz maestro, Moruakgomo opened the concert. It was a strictly musical act without dialogue, which saw Moruakgomo, his band and cast conveying a message that told of the ritualistic murder of children in Botswana.

Moratiwa: An African Tragedy Musical’s cast and band performed a number of songs such as Mother Of The Nation, Tsholofelo and Mogote Wa Botswana accompanied by various dance routines, which conveyed the message. The music and dance moves touched the audience’s emotion in different ways.

Moruakgomo and the band brought more life to the musical act with that Sunday jazzy sound.

In the second instalment of the concert the mood was hyped up, this time around with live music and dance performances.  Young musician, Vasco hyped up the mood with some Rhumba music and dance moves.

Despite the hype, ballroom dancers Mike, Mis T, Mr and Mrs Smerts put up a contemporary set followed by urban dance ensemble Urban Empire that thrilled the audience with hip hop and electronic music and dance moves.

Soulful musician, Lizibo also went on stage, his soulful voice thrilling a lot of women within the audience as showed through emotional reactions. He performed songs such as Ka Lebaka La Mmino, Wakanaka and Malome.

Lizibo was interactive in between his performances as he would talk to the audience explaining some of his songs to them. After the soulful performance by Lizibo, a medley that comprised of everyone that had performed during the night was staged.

Hosts of the night, Bambino and Carol Kgomotso, kept the audience entertained on stage with their presentation skills.
