Bobonong residents brace for Baharena

The mandate of the event is to give back to the community while having fun.  The event will see residents being sold some stalls while the lineup for the DJs on the day will be 100% local.

The organisers, Thabang Mangolo, Mompati Masilo, Richard Mompoloki and Tshwarelo Mothoka, will also take a tour donating sanitary towels to Matshekge Hill Senior School and three junior schools in Bobonong after the event as a way of returning the favour to the community. The event covers activities for all ages, which include a kids’ corner, jumping castle, face painting, free photoshoot, chill music, meat tasting, Tswana cuisine, beach volleyball, camp chair affair, fireworks, cocktails and many more.

The event is scheduled for two dualities, during the day from 10am and the night to crossover until 6am.  The tickets are selling at P10 for children, double tickets for P60, P200 VIP and P40 at the gate.

The organisers who have vowed to make the event an annual experience, have also promised maximum security at the event with the presence of Botswana Police Service.
