Engen & Maxis open shop at River View Mall

The two businesses were opened last week Friday.

According to Engen Filling Station and Maxis Grill managing director, Kerry Tiro the newly opened businesses had been rebranded and offered the best ambience with distinctive gardens and ample parking space.

Tiro explained that with the garden, the idea is to offer clients the best ambience to enjoy the view while dining from Maxis Grill’s rich varied menu.

“With our garden we wanted to be a home away from home as it gives good ambience and offers relaxation especially after travelling along the busy A1 road.

“The best of it all is that our filling station quick shop is also located inside Maxis making it effective for a one stop shop spoiling our clients for choice,” she said.

Tiro said the businesses have a compliment of 70 staff and more opportunities would open once the whole mall is completed. For his part River View Mall director, Seloma Tiro said the multimillion pula mall occupying 15,000 square metres, was due to be officially opened by Easter next year. Construction by Aitec Construction Company is ongoing. The Mall is being built on six hectares of land and will feature more than 20 units.

“For now we have opened Engen filling station and Maxis Grill with the mall officially opening by Easters next year.  “A number of tenants have already taken up space, including Choppies Hyper which will occupy 3,500 square metres, Fours Cash & Carry, Capello, Liqourama, Letshego, Pie City and many others,” said Tiro.

River View will be the fourth mall to be opened in the fast-growing village of Palapye. The central district village has experienced a boom in developments in recent years.
