Starting from November 26, 2016 Our Wedding Day second season will air on Botswana Television (Btv) as part of Saturday’s entertainment viewing for audiences across the country.
The show’s maiden run attracted massive viewership and positive feedback and the second season is a re-vamped and refreshed edition meant to titillate audiences and wedding couples alike. Having taken into account the first season viewer requests, which flooded social media pages and platforms, the show brings new changes such as a longer time slot of 48 minutes, new graphics, theme music, and Setswana as a primary medium of broadcast.
The new time slot of 1:30pm to - 2:30pm on Saturday afternoons provides for prime time viewing between the two popular programmes, Educational Broadcasting and Enole.
The show’s niche content thrust continues to be weddings and related celebrations. Our Wedding Day Season 2 promises to thrill even the most demanding of viewers. There has been deliberate effort by the producers of the show to bring variety and a diversified content offering.
The presenter line-up has seen a shakeup in Botho Mothudi, the sizzling RB2 presenter joining Joey Mothibi, a fixture from the first season. The chemistry between the duo is mind blowing and viewers are in for a treat as the pair traverse the length and breadth of the country bringing all variety of weddings and related content to livings rooms.
Our Wedding Day will continue to offer original, homegrown and fresh programming on national television, while offering potential brides and grooms an opportunity to garner tips on planning their weddings. The show also gives viewers a chance to indulge in the different cultures displayed at the wedding celebrations across Botswana.
