Driver commits suicide after killing 71-year-old

The 31-year-old woman of Hunhukwe village was recently found hanging in her rented house’s rafters. The police investigations to establish the cause of her actions are ongoing whilst she will be laid to rest over the weekend at her home village. 

Superintendent Vusimusi Jorowe of Tshane Police Station said the former employee of Hukuntsi Sub-District Council, who used a wire to hang herself did not leave any message justifying her actions. 

“We had a pending case of causing death by careless driving. Police investigations are ongoing to establish her actions. This is a rare incident, a first of its kind, we know women as vocal and open people, especially when troubled, hence we are baffled,” Jorowe said.
