“I am privileged again to introduce to the people of Lobatse and surrounding areas a fest I themed Sunday Gospel in Jazz.

This shall be fully a gospel session fused in jazz instrumental production. We are working in preparation for the event as we intend to give our fans nothing but a splendid performance,” he said.

Lota added that the event would be a testimonial evening as it will be on his birthday.

However, he pointed out that he decided to come up with the Sunday Gospel in Jazz concept, as it has never been done before.

He pointed out that locally, there has never been any gospel session hosted on Sunday afternoon.

Furthermore, he pointed out that the event would be the fourth gospel concert he would have produced in three years since he decided to embark on doing live concerts.  He said this live event would feature partly ministers from their Joyful Noise Group, Matthews Matsetse famed for his song Lion of Judah and their sound engineer, Phemelo Moikabi, who will make sure that the audience gets splendid sounds.

“We welcome people from different areas to bring their camp chairs to come and chill with us at a lodge and explore worship in jazz,” he said.

Lota is known in the south of the country for Joyful Noise.

He said his intent and purpose was to keep and lift God in worship.  He said he was currently majoring in coordinating live concerts after having released his last album five years back.

However, Lota explained he plans to make a great comeback in 2017.  He said he was working on a new single that would be launched next year.

“I am very much grateful and fortunate to allow God use me always,” he proudly said.

The event will be held at Rest In Lodge.

Tickets are sold through Webtickets at all Spar outlets in Gaborone and Webtickets Kiosk at Riverwalk Mall.

However, people in Lobatse and surrounding areas can contact him on 75950539 for their ticket delivery.  The tickets cost P100 for single and P150 for double. The event will start at 4pm.
