ContinuitySA Botswana Celebrates 10

We are proud that for the past 10 years that ContinuitySA Botswana has been in existence in Botswana, it has been able to bring business continuity to many businesses in Botswana.

This has helped many businesses to continue serving their customers despite any disasters or disruptions that may have struck. ContinuitySA Botswana has been able to retrieve any data loss as a result of any such eventualities. In some cases, they have hosted companies struck by such disasters in their offices while rescue operations were being carried out.

Business ContinuitySA has also been able to help businesses manage risk and potential inabilities to continue with daily operations. They have been available to assist companies and businesses to keep going despite any challenges and unforeseen circumstances that may have befallen them.

ContinuitySA Botswana has been able to fill the void that they found in our market where businesses were not able to manage the many risks they face in their business operations especially in relation to data protection and continuity of services when there are disruptions to their server systems. Today ContinuitySA prides itself with a total of 15 companies whose servers they host for purposes of managing potential risks. They have also realised huge growth on the business consultancy front where they forever see demand for their services as the modern business continues to experience challenges relating to data loss, data recovery and best business practice. Many of their client companies are also provided advisory services in terms of managing their data, identifying their critical support systems and potential areas of risk to the growth and continued operation of the business.

I am happy to note that even some government departments have also benefited from these good business initiatives. ContinuitySA Botswana is open to all businesses that aim to being the best in the market by forever innovating and keeping up to date with the dictates of the industry in which they conduct their businesses. Their coming in to the picture has helped many businesses to become more risk resilient and less prone to risky situations.

I am also happy to note that ContinuitySA Botswana has been involved in corporate social responsibility initiatives. They have so far donated some computers and associated accessories to some schools in Botswana including Palapye Central School, Gabane Primary School, Masa Primary School, Galaletsang Primary School and Serowe Central Primary School.

Libraries in these schools have now been converted into computer libraries in line with today’s changing learning environment. Elsewhere in the country, ContinuitySA Botswana is one of the co-sponsors of the ladies Golf tournament at Gaborone Golf Club.

This celebration therefore, ladies and gentlemen, is to thank the support they have been getting from the Botswana. It is also to rejoice the mark that the company has made in Botswana in contributing to business success. They have also contributed to economic growth by creating employment for their employees who are all locals. Many companies have now been able to take advantage of technology advances and to ensure organisational sustainability and peace of mind as a result of the coming in to the picture of ContinuitySA Botswana.

As government, we remain appreciative of the role that companies like ContinuitySA Botswana are playing in our economy and we encourage others to take a leaf from this and find their own niche in the market so that they also contribute something. We believe that there are many gaps in our market that needs dedicated business people to identify them and follow them with zeal as Continuity SA Botswana has done in the past 10 years.
