Charles releases travel guide book

The book is a travel coffee-table guide of a list of things to see, and do, events to attend, and food and drinks. It is Botswana’s ultimate itinerary presented with remarkable photographs and a language that travellers will relate to.
“The book is a photographic exhibition of material collected over a 10-year period by one of Botswana’s brilliant and well-travelled local photographers,” Charles explained
The book is aimed at promoting Botswana as well as guiding travellers through Botswana.
“The book is divided into four main sections namely; sights, activities, food and events. It is for everyone who is interested in Botswana from wildlife, arts and culture, natural wonders, manmade landmarks, beliefs and people’s way of life. For anyone who wishes to explore Botswana whether by getting out there or from the luxury of their arm-chairs. This is the list that if one could exhaust, they can proudly say, ‘I know and experienced Botswana,’” Charles explained in a press release.
The book published by Mmegi Publishing House, also seeks to celebrate Botswana’s 50th Independence, and leave a lasting legacy of BOT50.
The book will be available at Exclusive Books, Riverwalk Mall, as well as selected bookstores around the country from November 24, 2016.

Charles is a writer, photographer, traveller, blogger, arts lover, and journalist based in Gaborone.
“I am a travehollic who has been trekking Botswana ever since I was allowed to leave the house,” he said.
He has travelled throughout Botswana and extensively through Africa. He has climbed Kilimanjaro Mountain in Tanzania to Uhuru Peak 5895m - the highest point in Africa.
“I have successfully led two intrepid Cross Okavango Delta Expeditions travelling by mekoro. I was part of the National Geographic Expeditions in the Okavango and Angola, exploring the headwaters of the Okavango river basin,” said Charles.
