Miss RADP this weekend

The Indian High Commissioner to Botswana, Ketan Shukla will officiate at the event, held under the theme, “Unearthing natural beauty and talent”.
Miss RADP is an affirmative action initiative geared towards bringing services closer to the people who were previously disadvantaged.
Since its inception in 2013, the pageant has successfully attained its objectives of promoting and branding RADP affirmative action by preserving culture and increasing participation of young women from remote areas within the mainstream development thus building self-esteem. The pageant also seeks to identify talent and bring about inclusiveness and behavioural change among RADP communities. Respective districts will represent all the remote settlements.
The pageant is a collaborative effort of the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development as well as Apex Properties, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Botswana Television with the support of various companies within Botswana.
