Thintee has been recording music since 2011 without any of his music getting airplay as he was nurturing his skill on the mic. His single Kgotle Kgosi is the first of his many songs to get radio airplay this year.

The 20-year-old rapper who has been performing at pubs and nightclubs such as Trekkers feels he has matured his craft to venture into the commercial side of music and perform on bigger platforms.

“I realised that the time for me to go commercial has come coz I have been underground for a long time and I feel I am now ready to unleash everything I have, get bookings and share the stage with names such as Vee Mampeezy,” said Thintee.

While working on venturing into the commercial world, the Kgotle Kgosi rapper is currently in the studio working on his debut album which is set to be released in December. The album features the likes of Spiza Valentino and DG Hoodstarz.

“As an underground rapper I have learnt that the music industry is not an easy walk especially if you are an upcoming artist. I have also noticed that established artists and producers tend to look down upon us upcoming artists.” He noted that his style of rap is more like story telling whereby he delivers a message through his music.  As an underground rapper he has performed in a number of Gaborone high schools.
