Kabo Phuthego put Satmos ahead after just five minutes before Movers’ Keith Leposo nullified the lead with a 30th minute strike. Phuthego then grabbed his brace, which gave Satmos the lead going into the break.

Odireleng Tebogo equalised in the second half before giving his side a 3-2 lead minutes later. But Phuthego grabbed his hat trick from the penalty spot to leave the match tied at 3-3 just 10 minutes into the second half.

But Kelebileone Chepete broke Satmos’ resistance with the fourth in the 74th minute.

FC Satmos coach, Mogolodi ‘Sticks’ Chepete said they could have easily won the game had they put more effort. He said their opponents did not give them competition.

“Our mistakes cost us the three points that we could have easily scooped. Our goalkeeper also did not perform as expected.

Moving forward, we will have to work on our midfield as well as on the goalkeeper to avoid a repeat of the mistakes in our next game,” he said.

On the other hand, coach Keleneetse Leposo of Real Movers told Mmegi Sport that although he is happy with the full points, he was surprised with the tough competition from Satmos.

“It is not that I am belittling our opponents, but I thought that since they have problems within their team, it was going to deter their focus making it easy for us to defeat them.

Even my players got into the match thinking that it was going to be a walk over as they were a bit relaxed in the first minutes of the game,” he said.

He added that his players who are ex-BCL employees, are still stressed by their situation, something he says affects their performance.

He however said that none of them has left the team yet, stating that he fears for the worst in January as that might happen.
