Not because he has disappointed before, but the question on many revellers’ minds was whether ‘Mr Fill Up’ would perform like he did during his previous shows locally. However, his response was spot on, and he undisputedly owned the Piazza.

It was the first biggest show of the year, and it provided some impetus for a good year for the entertainment sector.

The show started well after 8 pm and the mood was getting somber, but at least Bouncy managed to bring some life into the crowd with her raunchy performance. Although she performed songs that didn’t really click with the mainstream crowd, her performance was quite good.

After she left the stage, the crowd was already on edge and wanted more from others such as Han C and Dramaboi who performed before the headliner, Cassper Nyovest. Both Han C and Dramaboi kept the groove going with their popular songs. Han C performed the hit Rejection, which is popular amongst his ladies fans.

Cassper lived up to his reputation of being an energetic performer and even if those who are not his fans seemed to really enjoy themselves.

He performed hits like Doc Shebeleza, Gusheshe, Tito Mboweni and the crowd’s favourite ‘Gets Getsa’ amongst others. The audience lost it when he performed the hit song of the moment Monate Mpolaye, which he did with DJ Sumbody.

It showed how popular his songs are in Botswana as many revellers could be heard singing along to every tune he performed. He also performed some songs from his latest album called Sweet and Short.

Overall the concert was really good, Cassper has great energy and Dramaboi showed that he remained one of the best performers in the country.
