Uganda's Phil, Moz's Jen leave house

The housemates however, had nominated the twins for possible eviction. Erastus and Edward Moongo from Namibia faced eviction but sadly for Phil, the week's head of house decided to replace one of the twins (Edward) with him and it looks luck was not on his side as he was the one who ended up being evicted on Sunday.

Showbiz managed to interview Jen, who voluntarily left the house citing bad news she received from home. Jen, however, did not want to share what the bad news were all about, but indicated that she would have gone very far with the game were it not for circumstances forcing her to quit.  In this game it is not rare for someone to walk in with a strategy, but Jen said she did not enter the house with a strategy, but explained that during their one-week separation from the males, they decided to form an alliance, anchored on nominating the men (for eviction) first. She, however, noted that such alliances were not cast in stone, as all contestants would want to leave the house with the loot. Besides having to leave early, Jen said she valued the time she spent in the house because she had learnt much.

'I didn't know I would be accepted for who I am, and I am leaving the house very happy, as they accepted me and loved me for who I am. I have learnt to love myself more,' she said.
She said being amongst the 12 wonderful women she learnt to persevere as a woman.
Of course those who saw Jen when she initially got into the house, could see that she is a shy person, which she acknowledges too. She told Showbiz that while the show is a competition with the winner standing a chance to scoop USD 200, 000, she entered the house mostly for the sake of her ego.

'I am shy, and I wanted to challenge myself to get over that, and overcome my fears,' she said.

She explained that even though she was in the house for a brief spell, she managed to face her fears and is now in a better place. Jen said she plans to go back to her life and do what she had been doing, but noted that through interaction with Botswana's Kaone, affectionately calling him K-1, and Kevin Chuwang of Nigeria, she developed a passion for charity work.

'They were telling me about the wonderful things they do, doing charity work,' she said.
Jen said she would definitely get involved in charity work once she settles into her world outside the BB-Revolution house. She also noted that she likes the Botswana representative quite a lot, describing him as a fantastic person.

Jen admitted the choice she made to leave the house voluntarily is not an easy one, but noted that her entering the reality show was worth it.

Viewers, of course, have been curious about the reasons for her voluntary exit, and speculations have been flying on the screen text messaging, and on the show's interactive website, but the BBR has awarded her the right to privacy, and she has decided she is not sharing with anyone the reasons for her departure.
