Nato faces stock-theft charge

Ramotswa Police Station commander superintendent Keoagile Tau said Nato and his co-accused were stopped and searched while driving a Honda Fit near the Kudumatse intersection, commonly known as the Nokia traffic lights, on Monday.
Two goats were found in the car, but the two failed to account for the stock.
“They were taken to Naledi Police Station where they failed to account for the goats when interrogated by the police. The goats were traced back to Mogobane village and their owner denied any involvement with the duo concerning his goats,” Tau said.
The duo appeared before Mogobane Customary Court on Tuesday facing a single count of stock-theft and will appear again on February 19, 2019 for the trial.
Rollers president, Jagdish Shah said Nato has not reported for training since the weekend game against Gaborone United.
'We do not know where he is, we had started training on Monday, today is Wednesday so it is the third day he has been absent. We just got news from sources but we are yet to hear from him as of now, I cannot say anything,' Shah said.
Nato could face disciplinary action from the club's management after being absent without leave. 'We have a code of conduct. It is up to the club manager to take care of the matter, but that will be after we hear from him,' Shah said.
Nato featured for Rollers during the Mascom Top 8 semifinal clash against Gaborone United on Saturday.
Rollers lost 10-9 after a marathon penalty shootout.
