Even though his first single, Look Look, was already receiving rave reviews and massive airplay from local radio stations, Slow Wizzy, as he is called in the music industry had doubts about prospects of his next project, however, it has proven that it will also be a success.

He said although he sings Afro pop, its different because it has the naijavibe.

The 34-year-old Francistown artiste said told Arts & Culture that the title track Tsukuna, Look Look and Paparazi are doing all.

The other songs in the album are Didimala, Designer, My Money, Station, Take me far, Nijel Amos and Paradise.

“The album was released in December but already people are talking about these songs. Look Look has been played all over and people are now calling and requesting for Tsukuna as well. It was also in the local Yarona Fm top 10. So far I have received positive feedback about my album through different social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp,” he said.

Slow Wizzy said while it is always hard for upcoming artistes to make a breakthrough, working with experienced promoter Gilbert ‘PP wa Pimp’ Seagie has been a blessing for him.

He said he collaborated with the likes of Emjoe, Lucia Dottie of Culture Spears, Noxxie, Dopeboi and Captain Dira, while Uncle Touch, Rubizzy, and Emjoe did the production to give it fresh and a variety of sounds.

Slow Wizzy also added that he is also a producer and owns a recording studio called under which he has produced jazz artiste Da Mesh of the hit Chiwele.

“I am producing other artistes as well through my studio Dladla Plain Records. Soon we will do a double single release of Ntatemogolo and Mmaagwe T with Da Mesh,” he added.
