Mediland Healthcare Distributor has been announced as the country partner for Evolve nutrition. However, the official launch of the product, has been scheduled for March 2.

The brand ambassador, Samuel Frauenstein told Sport Monitor that sport nutrition is everything.

“You can train as hard as you want but if you do not feed your muscles and not help the body to recover, then it does not mean anything,”  Frauenstein said.

“For me that is one of the biggest changes I have made in my training that has helped my performance.”

Frauenstein said the other element was for him to be on a quality diet.

He said he should be able to supplement around his diet. Frauenstein added that before and after workout, is the two important parts of the diet for him because it makes his body ready for him to train hard. He said that also makes him to recover.

“It is always overlooked by most people. They want to be in the gym all the time or running forgetting to fuel the body,” he said. Frauenstein explained that Evolve supplements offer protein and amino acids, which are products needed before and after workout.

He said the products are all legal. He stated that doping is about enhancing products such as testosterone or medically used products.

Frauenstein has been with Evolve for half a year now. “It has been a fantastic six months. They have helped to prepare for the 2018 Africa Strongest man. I am currently preparing for Arnold Strongman Classic Australia and Arnold Strongman Classic Africa in May.”

Bikini fitness athlete, Jenine van der Merwe said sport nutrition is important for an athlete because one cannot get all the nutrition they need from their diet.
