Addressing the would be winners and their friends ahead of the draw for the grand finale at Sefalana hyper, Block 3 Industrial Thursday,  Kedikilwe challenged the would be winners  to come to their senses and realise that  no one is going to come from somewhere and  turn their lives around until they  take the vital steps as individuals. Kedikilwe  told the would be winners that now opportunity had been created for them, and that they  have the responsibility now to  ponder how to utilise it best for their present and future  gains, further using a well known biblical parable of talents to inspire the  finalists to use whatever little they had won to invest it and make sure it earns them something extra.

Kedikilwe noted that since 2014, his company had given away 29 tractors and plough combos, which should improve livelihoods of the winners many fold.

Kedikilwe inspired the winners to ask themselves what good use they will be putting their tools to, adding that they needed to be mature and considerate as they meditated on the prizes won which should be seen as a good effort in poverty eradication, in improving one’s own life, for now and  for the future.

He said Sefalana’s gesture or initiative fulfills one of the pillars of the Vision 2016, that advocates for prosperity for all, inclusive development. “ The concern is that economic growth must  mean all other  people, hence the reason for these prizes by Sefalana to be reaching all and sundry,” he said.

The Sefalana grand finale featured 33 winners from across the group’s countrywide reach, as over P70,000 in cash prizes were won, along with ten tractors and plough combos worth over P2 million.
