Magosi Suffer Another Defeat

With Magosi sitting in a relegation position, the team’s stand-in coach, Zaahid Jalal is not thinking about relegation and says the team will survive.
“The idea here is that we are still in it. The teams are not far from us (but) we have to be careful how we stretch. I believe these last two games, those six points would have made a huge difference.
It is not yet too late, you can see the players are hungry, we can still survive,” Jalal told the journalists after the match. Magosi asked questions as early as the third minute. Arnold Mampori tried a shot from outside the box, but Basimanebotlhe Moilwa was up to the task.
In the 11th minute, the visitors had their first sight at goal. Bhekuyise Kunene ran through the Chiefs’ defence but was let down by his poor finishing.
Two minutes later, Kunene opened the scores as he beat the goalkeeper to the far bottom corner. Magosi tried to look for a quick reply four minutes later.
This time it was Mampori with yet another chance from a free-kick but the goalkeeper managed to make a save.
The visitors doubled the lead after a miscommunication at the back. Mgadla tried to head back to the goalkeeper who was off his line as the ball ended in the Chiefs net.
Magosi made a halftime substitution with Tumelo Sentle coming on for Trinity Nko. The striker made an instant impact just three minutes in to his debut as the tapped in Mgadla’s cross to make it 2-1. Five minutes later, Sentle flicked for Molefe whose header went straight in to the goalkeeper’s hands. Magosi put numbers forward desperately looking for an equaliser but could not break the visitors defense.
In the 75th minute, Sentle was unfortunate not to get the equaliser, as his header beat the goalkeeper only to the blocked on the goal line by Mothata Lucas. With four minutes to time, Atang Morwamang tried from outside the box but the goaltender saved as the visitors bagged the three points on the night.
“I am happy to get three points. I wanted to the get maximum points today. We have not been doing well this is a morale boost for my boys,” Tse Nala coach, Otsile Koolese said the game.
