Ex-Mr Gabs combines beauty with music

The 23-year-old from Mabutsane in the Kgalagadi District told Arts & Culture that he loves art and described music as his passion. He is also involved in modelling, acting and sports.

“I started singing when I was very young. I was only nine years old then. I sung in the school choir, church choir and done music all those years till now. It is just that now I decided to share my talent with the general public,” he revealed.

“My new single was motivated by today’s lifestyle where young girls come into men’s lives for money, value and material things. Nowadays, we barely have women who get into relationship because of love and the intension of building a home together.”

He said he came up with that concept to reveal that he didn’t know that his lover was the kind of woman that runs the blesser/blessee kind of lifestyle.

According to Molatedi, the song was also inspired by his personal experiences where some women came into his life only for gold digging and selfish interests. He said the song’s main objective is to urge those kinds of women to refrain from that bad behaviour. Tiro Thebe from Makau produced the song.
