Is Obama angling for World War III, on the eve of his exit?

She is the richest country in the world - US population is four percent of world population, her share of world GDP is more than 20 percent; she is militarily the strongest country on mother earth; she possesses more nuclear warheads than the combined nuclear warheads of the rest of the nuclear world; with military bases in most parts of the world, plus-minus 150 of them, she’s a venomous octopus stretching her malignant tentacles around the insecure globe ; the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), her spy outfit is the best resourced Intelligence monster the world over, with enormous latitude, capacity and potential to plot destabilisation and arrogant “regime change” incursions into countries that resist cooption into her sphere of influence; her unparalleled opulence makes her the monarch of all she surveys.
US propaganda arsenal, in the form of print and electronic media, is formidable and unrivalled. Media in the US is run by establishment lapdogs not people’s watchdogs; whatever malicious propaganda is peddled by the authorities, the lapdog media will amplify, embellish, publish and broadcast; the official lies are immune to rebuttal while they spread like deadly virus imaginable.
propaganda, targets Americans, American dupes outside the USA, as well as non-Americans in the non-aligned world! Remember President GW Bush outrageous lie that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD)? A blatant lie and excuse to invade Iraq, 2003. Obama has continued GW’s doctrine in practice, if not in theory.
Behind NATO’s proxy wars in Libya, Syria and Yemen, Obama’s hand is thinly veiled but conspicuous big time! When gas and chemical warfare is waged against the civilians in Syria, Bashar al Assad is blamed. The world knows who used napalm bombs against the Vietnamese! Between Assad of Syria and Obama of American villainy, who loves the Syrians more, may we ask?
In the current Syrian conflict, Obama’s administration supplies weapons and money to the rebels (ISIS). Even the maverick Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate is puzzled by Obama’s double standards of fighting ISIS in Mosul and partnering ISIS in Syria. Obama is seriously angling for WW3! Putin doesn’t look like someone who will back off when aggressors run amok. The world is on the brink of global conflict!
The superpower advantage acquired by US after the fall of the Berlin Wall makes her an elephant rogue on the international stage. It’s obvious, with all the advantages she commands, America will be inclined to overawe other nations.
The swagger and the sneer of her ways in international relations is far from accidental. She has it in her to browbeat and dictate terms to any and all who display recalcitrance to her orders. She imposes blockades and sanctions however brutal, stupid, unworkable and insensitive on countries that refuse to toe the line dictated by her pettiness. Ask Cuba, ask Iran, ask Venezuela and others. Woe to Duterte of the Philippines the man who dares tell Obama, ‘Go to hell!’
Before 1990, the USA wasn’t the bad guy she has become today. The ‘cold war’ between the two politico-economic systems of capitalism and socialism as then represented by the USA and the USSR, kept any war-mongering instinct in either camp at arms length and in check. There was a stalemate determined by a perceived balance of power between two equal world superpowers. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990 opened the floodgates for the one world superpower, the US to dictate her policy.
In the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall and subsequent disintegration of the USSR, the USA found herself the unchallenged superpower with potential and avarice to build the world in her own image. The former USSR satellites forming the buffer with NATO together with some parts of the USSR which broke off in response to Gorbachev’s Perestroika and Glasnot reforms, formed a fragile border west of the new Federation of Russia, placing her within the gun sights of the insatiable USA.
Socialism spearheaded by the USSR may be down and out; in retrospect however the sole world super-power ought to recognise the essentiality of peaceful co-existence, with countries holding divergent ideologies, religions or forms of democracy. Human intellect should be given free rein to experiment and engineer appropriate human life culture to raise human development to a higher pedestal.
Democracy enforceable by the whiplash, the gun, the bomb, the drone, propaganda, won’t work. Man is not a piece of clay to be moulded into whatever shape at the whim of any amateurish potter armed with WMD or the Goebbelsian propaganda. Modern observers will interrogate why ISIS in Mosul (Iraq) should be distinct from ISIS in Aleppo (Syria)? Lies, damn lies and statistics!
