“GU will win the match although it would not be an easy game. The team has been winning games consecutively and I don’t think that Jwaneng Galaxy will disturb their momentum. The past glory days are surely back at Moyagoleele.”

“I predict that GU will bag this cup. The team is currently strong and playing good football. Jwaneng Galaxy is not that strong as compared to GU. It would be difficult for the diamond mining town team to defeat GU now,” he said.

Jacob Mokgethi (Township Rollers supporter)

“Although I am a Township Rollers supporter, I place my bet on GU to lift the Mascom Top 8 Final trophy. GU is currently on top form, which put it in good stead to win against Galaxy. GU will win the game 2-1 on Saturday,” Mokgethi said.

Lucky Tlagae

“GU’s coach Phillimon Makwengwe has a bag full of tricks that he will unleash against his opponents on Saturday. Makwengwe is a very good analyser of the game.  With Dirang Moloi on top form in the midfield and Jerome Ramatlhakwane also on top gear, GU will demolish Galaxy. Moloi and Ramatlhakwane are very experienced players who will cause a lot of problems for Galaxy. GU has been on form for the past four games and I don’t think Galaxy will be able to contain them,” Tlagae said.

Thobo Potlako

“Galaxy will win the match come rain or sunshine on Saturday. The team plays good football and they have an advantage over GU because they can always vary their game if things are not going their way. Galaxy also has got very skilful wingers who can cause problems for any team on their day. Players like Thero Setsile and the experienced Tebogo Sembowa who has won this cup on numerous occasions, will come in handy for Galaxy although the game is going to be difficult,” an optimistic Potlako said.

“Galaxy will run away with the P1.3 million prize money. The team is mature and clinical in front of goals. The game is going to be technical. Although Makwengwe is a master tactician, I don’t think that he and his players will be able to contain the likes of Sembowa and Patrick Kaunda who are very experienced and clinical in front of the goal posts. On their day, these two players are deadly. GU would also be overwhelmed by Galaxy because their defence has a tendency to unnecessarily panic.”
