Moloi, Setsile key to trophy destiny

Eyes would be on GU’s Dirang Moloi and Thero Setsile of Jwaneng Galaxy. The duo has stood out for their respective teams in the run up to the final with four assists and two goals between them in just four games played. They are expected to make the starting line up for their respective teams.

Moloi, a fan favourite at the Reds is expected to lead the team to cup glory tomorrow. ‘Malam’ poses great vision, is a master passer of the ball and a nimble footed player.

He reads and dedicates the game very well and can play just behind the strikers or in the central midfield role. The playmaker showed his class in the second leg of the semifinal against holders, Township Rollers, where he provided an assist and a goal in a breathtaking encounter.

Moloi’s downfall could be lack of power; the midfielder does not take shots from outside the eight-yard area.  His aerial presence is as poor as his marking. Setsile on the other hand, has never put a foot wrong, making him Galaxy’s most improved player this season.

He recently hit double figures in the league as he reached 10 goals. The former Sankoyo Bush Bucks player poses great speed, is skillful and has a sharp eye for goal. The 25-year-old has been both in attacking and defensive positions this season.

He has however proven to be lethal playing on the wing than in the wing back position. He has three assists and a goal in this edition of the cup.

However, the left footed player is let down by his passing; his decision making in the final third is also worrisome, but he covers all that with a very high work rate.
