The crew made up of Emtee, Fifi Cooper, Saudi, Sjava, A-Reece, Miss Pru, Dj Citi Lyts and B3nchmarq will headline the show called Major Lit Sessions music festival.  The music festival is organised by Uvalelo Holdings and it would also include a lineup of local artists.

As a collective the Ambitiouz Entertainment has only performed once in SA and Botswana will be the first foreign country to see the crew on stage at once. While Ambitiouz Entertainment is even stronger as group and record label, all eyes will be on Emtee and Fifi Cooper.

Fifi Cooper real name Refilwe Mooketsi is most known to her fans as South Africa’s 1st Lady of Motswako. Fifi Cooper will be representing the Setswana speaking town of Mafikeng and she is a popular figure especially in the local scene. The truth or dare songstress recently hosted one-man show in Botswana. The Putsununu rapper is the first artist to be signed under Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2015 and she will lead way for the crew. The female MC is unquestionably talented and her rich lyrical power has changed the way people look at motswako within the hip-hop culture.

Mthembeni Ndevu, better known by his stage name Emtee would also be the biggest part of the Ambitiouz Entertainment’s package to Batswana. The roll up singer who had earlier promised a good show would aim to leave no stone unturned. He had been in Botswana early this year at the Roll-Up-Party in Dros. The rapper who is also known as Emtee Da Hustla to his fans is the hottest newcomer in South Africa and he has taken trap music to a recognisable state. Being a genre that is beginning to gain momentum, the presence of Emtee on the local stage might install more confidence to upcoming hip-hop artists who would be sharing a stage with him on the night.

To add more spice on the crew is hip hop group B3nchmarq that is made up of two lyricists Tkay and P.Jay. It was formed in 2008 and joined Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2015.  In 2016, right after Emtee released his hit Pearl Thusi, B3nchmarq released a new hit called Bonang.

DJ Citi lyts of Washa fame will also be there to represent Soweto as a hip-hop DJ. He rose to fame when he got the chance to work with the award-winning artist Emtee Da Hustler.

There is also Prudence Sebalo popularly know as Miss Pru who has worked hard to build a name for herself as a female house DJ. She has showcased her skills at big events outside SA and Botswana and would perhaps be one of the beneficiaries this Friday. Miss Pru has recently released a hit single Ameni, which features the Ambitiouz Entertainment crew.

As for A-Reece, he was not known until he collaborated with Emtee in the song Couldn’t and he has now shown his lyrical power as a songwriter. A-Reece is just a 19-year-old rapper who has always wanted to be heard and Gaborone will be waiting to hear his musical truth. Ambitiouz Entertainment requested that he finish matric first before he focused on the music.

Still on the Ambitiouz Entertainment lineup there is Jabulani Hadebe who is known to his fans as ‘Sjava Ka Jama’. He has been pursuing a career in the entertainment industry from a young age and has acted on SA’s biggest soapies such as Generations and Zone 14. Sjava ka Jama released his debut single titled Ekseni in April 2016.

There is also the 21-year-old Saudi who recorded his first song on an electronic keyboard at the age of 13. He has contributed to A-Reece’s single Couldn’t, Ameni by Miss Pru and DJ Citi Lyts’s hit Washa. Saudi’s debut single under Ambitiouz Entertainment There she go was released on April 15 on free download.

To wrap up the Ambitiouz Entertainment crew, there is the 22-year-old singer songwriter Amanda Benedicta Antony, known to her fans as Amanda Black.

Fifi Cooper and Emtee are the only artists from Ambitiouz Entertainment who had performed in a local stage.
