Mogorosi, who is on fire at Township Rollers, was the surprise omission from the Zebras list called for camp last week.

He scored his 15th league goal on Saturday when his side demolished Gunners 4-1.

“I am happy with whatever Mr Mpote (Mogomotsi) is doing. I am not going to cry about this and that. He has got his own plan,” Mogorosi said.

“If at one point I am called back to the national team while I am still playing football, I will play. Officially, I have not retired from the national team but it is coming.”

The Zebras are currently preparing for the last match of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola on Saturday in Francistown.

Mpote and his technical team have opted for Omaatla Kebatho and Tumisang Orebonye to lead the attack ahead of on-form Mogorosi.

Despite leading the goal scoring charts in the domestic league, Mogorosi said he is not chasing the Green Boot award.

“I am not chasing that. I want the championship. As long as Rollers score and we win matches I am happy.”

He said he prefers to play in front of goals where he can either score or create opportunities for his teammates.

Besides scoring the equaliser against Gunners, Mogorosi also provided an assist for substitute, Kamogelo Matsabu for the second goal.

“My former coach once told me that I should either score or provide assist. That is why I am celebrating Matsabu’s goal. If I tried to score that goal for myself and in the process hit an opponent we were not going to score a goal and that goal killed off the game,” he said.
