BPPs Seboko Climbs Down Dear Comrades and Compatriots,

Duma Boko

Duma Boko

It remains noble because; we who are steadfast on changing, literally getting back the governance of Batswana back to them, are the very ones who have opted for such to be in a noble fashion.

We have had a choice, a choice not to be noble, but we have retained nobility. There are challenges in retaining nobility in a political dispensation where those holding the state’s high seat are not only illegitimate, but appearing to have all insincere intentions of robbing the citizenry a chance to decide who should rule them.

It is an open given that we of the UDC, are the only capable people to do what is right. To provide what a state must provide is an obligation to us. it is also a right. In the anger and bitterness we err.

Including us as the leadership. And indeed in my anger towards the BDP, I have erred to the only people keeping this country noble under these difficult circumstances.

I am not an angel. I Botho Seboko have have erred and profoundly apologise. My words were not intended for President Duma Boko. They were however construed to mean so. I can’t defend how the words came to the minds, souls and hearts of the members of the UDC family, which I serve out of my heart.

I can only as a leader of the BPP and indeed, of the UDC, listen to the voices and learn. In that learning, I have accepted that I have erred and hence I profoundly, from the bottom of my heart apologise for all the hurt, the confusion and the pain my words have caused to the UDC family that I serve.

I don’t only serve, I serve at your mercy. You have given me the trust, confidence and opportunity to be meaningful in our aspirations as a people to free Batswana from the BDP slavery, economic disparity, corruption and failures. This is the Bible you gave me, the Bible I read from.

Comrades, brothers, sisters, parents and friends; please accept my apologies.

Yours remorsefully

Botho Seboko Secretary General BPP

The Facebook Post That He Regrets

You see... Faced with a challenge to run a government back in 1966, some of you could have relocated to neighbouring countries in fear and loss of hope. Appreciate what Former president Seretse Khama did, do so acknowledging that he was not God and his human nature comes with imperfections.

It is frustrating to hear even little baboons that are responsible to nothing and for nobody are leading the pack to discredit the founding president of our Nation.

You see, unlike us today, those in the opposition back then knew that their opposition was to be within realms of nation building. Even those in the ruling, their kind of leadership needed to command respect across the entire political divide.
