Located at the city’s Central Business District, the 147-roomed hotel is a stone’s throw away from i-Towers and opposite to Room 52 Hotel.

The three-star hotel features a restaurant, a gym, an outdoor swimming pool, kiosk, a 24-hour business centre, four meeting rooms fitted with A/V equipment and three boardrooms. Hilton’s rooms vary from standard to king, twin rooms and suites to interconnected rooms. Unlike other hotels locally, clients have an option of choosing a room, paying, booking, or checking in and out through the Hilton Honors mobile app.

All rooms are fitted with Africa’s very first digital key, Hilton’s mobile enabled room key technology that allows guests to simply and securely unlock their room door using their smartphone. According to the Hilton’s general manager, Evan Harrington they want to redefine the nature of the hotel industry highlighting that they target business people.

“People need to understand that this is a Garden Inn hotel and we designed it in a way that would suit your business people on the go to make them feel comfortable,” he said.  The hotel also has a guest reward programme that lets guests earn both hotel stay and airline miles for the same stay at nearly 5,000 hotels globally.

Harrington added that they were also committed to empowering Batswana especially the youth, as they used the local art designs on the walls of the hotel to beautify the building and create a more natural environment.

“Our aim is to help empower people in every way we can. We are privileged to help alleviate even in a small way, not only through gainful employment but through investing in their careers with training and real experience to drive their futures,” he said.
