In an interview with Showbiz, the legendary entertainer confirmed that indeed he will be part of My Star in the coming season. DJ Sid said he was approached by My Star owner Keabetswe ‘Master D’ Sesinyi for help and he did not refuse.

This comes as a surprise because DJ Sid had been criticising the show on social media since he called it quits. “Critics are just critics, its all in the past,” he said. DJ Sid said he will work out certain aspects with Master D that have to be changed. The DJ who quit the show to venture into politics will now continue where he left off by unearthing talent.

As for his controversial remarks, DJ Sid he does not know whether he is going to be the same old harsh judge. During his time as a judge, DJ Sid attracted both rage and admiration from contestants and viewers of the TV show.  “I didn’t plan anything during those days as a judge. I just reacted to what the contestants were doing,” he said.

With DJ Sid’s presence, the show that lost popularity over the years might resurrect and go back to the way it used to be in the first few seasons. Season 11 auditions are scheduled for this December after My Star Best of the Best last season.
