Local artists proved themselves at the event and successfully kept the audience dancing the night away.

One of the brilliant performances was that of Dr Vom who never disappoints.

The Tsaya Thobane singer moved the crowd at Bojanala Waterfront as the evidently thrilled revellers sung and danced along. Even though he has not released an album in a long time, his songs have proven to still possess the magic that gets the crowd moving to his beat.

Afro Pop singer, Kabelo Tiro aka Skavenja also outdid himself and treated the audience to a beautiful performance. He sang some of his popular songs such as Semakaleng, Mmamoratwa, and Morweetsana and closed his performance with the people’s favourite song, Monyopi.

The night could not have been complete without beautiful dance moves from the Mobini dance crew. The crew treated the audience to beautiful dance moves that made the crowd cheer in excitement. The multitalented crew from Naledi, Mafitlhakgosi also gave the audience a performance to remember.

Mr Yummy, D-Axis, Unanimous 1 and other local DJs got the audience on its toes the whole night. The South African songbird, Simmy that the audience had been eagerly waiting for treated the audience another beautiful performance.

She, however, left some of the audience disappointed, as she did not treat them to an hour’s performance as anticipated. She only sang four songs namely Mahlalela, Ntaba Ezikude, Ubala and Sonini.

The makeup event was arranged after the South African songbird pitch up at the African Attire on Fleek event, which followed after her flight was cancelled last month.  At the time, it left her fans disappointed with some causing chaos after realising that their favourite artist did not come to the country.

The event’s coordinator David Letshwiti then vowed to make it up to his fans by keeping his promise and bringing the artist to the country, which he did this time around.
