In an interview with Business Monitor, the 26-years-old revealed that his blog is inspired by the Milan menswear fashion week.

The vibrant Geofrey, mentioned that his blog showcases different seasonal and street shoots through his fashion photography skills and features them in the website.

Geofrey added that he grew up with the love and passion for fashion and wanted to explore it in the different types of costumes in a tremedous way. Through his blog www.raygeof.com, the degree holder in Interior Architecture from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Botswana, features unique menswear and captures special occasions in an adventurous manner.

“My first client when I started fashion blogging, was Sidney Mack brand whom I featured in my website. Sidney organised the menswear shoot at the Makgadikgadi Pans and it suited my mission of promoting tourism destinations through fashion shoots,” he said. He disclosed that his involvement in the fashion blogging was prompted by the lack of knowledge that people have towards fashion, especially perspectives men have towards style and the imbalance in the fashion industry.

Furthermore, that the fashion industry is biased and female-dominated, which over the past years have left a huge gap between the menswear and womenswear. The fashionista said that he was involved in the Project street style 24 where he featured local male models and local designers in his website to showcase their talent.  He said for his online business to blossom, he wants to feature different ranges of local celebrities in order to empower their fashion taste.

Geofrey noted that he is going to start a weekly online magazine so that people can access different fashion trends cheaper.

He noted that he also ventured into the industry so that he can sustain a living and showcase their cultural style to the globe.

Geofrey added that the online business creates an access to the worldwide market and provide a platform to connect to other fashion bloggers.
