Cyclones enters the fray

The single was produced by DJ Decstar and recorded at Cuspridor Clique Records.  Slimbone told Showbiz that the single would introduce them to the music industry and show fans what they can offer. “We are hoping it can open doors for many songs to come,” he said.  He said the single would be available on radio soon and it is currently available for free download.  Daggie said the single would be followed by a mixtape called Changing Seasons before the end of the year. He said in the mixtape they would collaborate with other artists.

“We wanted to show people how we sound when we are on our own,” he said.

Daggie said 80% of the mixtape is done and that they would feature artists like Moanelwa Mogolo, Brian Lorenzo and Cool Nerd.

“We worked on this single since June and we wanted to refine certain aspects,” he said.  Slimbone said they started in 2013 when they first noticed their love for music. “At the time we didn’t release anything because we wanted everything to be perfect once we do,” he said.

He said they faced challenges with various producers along the way.

“Some producers didn’t understand our style,” he said.

However, Slimbone said they now intend to work with other artists who are just as passionate about music.
